Hiya Jennifer - welcome to
planDisney!
Thanks so much for stopping by and asking your very first question to our team of panelists! We're always here to help Guests just like you plan your very own magical Walt Disney World Resort vacations and celebrations.
What a wonderful idea to celebrate your daughter's sweet 16 at
Walt Disney World Resort! Make sure to stop by the Front Desk of your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, or at a Guest Relations location at a Theme Park or Disney Springs to get a celebratory button - you can even have it personalized for her by one of the talented artists at
Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe at Magic Kingdom Park, or
Disney's Days of Christmas at Disney Springs! That way everyone will know she is celebrating, and there might even be some extra pixie dust floating her way!
Dining with large groups is possible, but a party of your size is probably best handled by a restaurant with a large private dining or party room. While there are some restaurants where you might be able to split your party up into a few Advance Dining Reservations at about the same time, I'm guessing you'd want something a bit more formalized, especially because the restaurants wouldn't be able to guarantee each reservation could be seated next to the other.
For that reason, if I were you, my first stop would be to contact some of the dining locations at
Disney Springs. I know for a fact that several have private rooms available to host gatherings, and you can reach out to them directly to discuss your options. I know of friends who have had great experiences with large groups at
Wine Bar George,
Paddlefish, and
The Edison, but other locations may also have great options.
Depending on your budget you may also want to consider reaching out to
Disney's Meetings & Events team. Their expert Cast Members are skilled at planning and hosting everything from small intimate gatherings all the way through conventions for thousands of people. It doesn't hurt to see if they have any options that would make for a magical birthday dinner for your daughter.
I hope this information is helpful as you start planning for your celebration -
please let me know if additional questions arise that we can help answer!
