I was looking @ horseback riding at TriCircleD ranch. Are there rides for more experienced riders? Im sure they used to be advertised on the website but now all I can find is info on the 45min trails. I'd love to go for a ride with more than a gentle walk

Hi Catherine!  I too love to ride horses and enjoy a fun trail ride. It is great that Disney does offer this type of recreational activity but it is truly a slow and relaxing 45 minute walk on the horses. They do not offer anything else even for the more experienced riders.  I still sign up now and then as I enjoy the ride and often we see deer in the woods and other great sights.  Being near a four legged friend is a nice change too from the busy parks. I say give it a try at least once even though you will find it slower then your abilities can handle. When you are done with the ride head up to the front of the resort and visit the barns where all the wonderful horses used in the parades and Cinderella's coach are housed.  That is another great treat for horse lovers!
