Hi Amanda,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I sense that the Force is strong with you. Vision you have for the journey to
Jedi Training - Trials of the Temple.
Every young Jedi recruit must eat. I suggest that you make a pre-park opening dining reservation at Disney's Hollywood & Vine. Hollywood & Vine is located very close to the Indiana Jones Adventure Outpost where young recruits can sign-up for Jedi training. On our last visit, we had dining reservations for 8:45 a.m. The park opened at 9:00 a.m. We arrived to the restaurant about 10 minutes early and were able to sign-up for Jedi training prior to our dining reservation. Check the
Park Hours to be sure that there are no Extra Magic Hours on the morning of your visit. As we enjoyed our meal, we watched the crowds rush into the park and the line form for Jedi training sign-up. We had a priceless view of the line as it stretched well past the restaurant.
If you cannot secure a pre-park opening dining reservation, I suggest that you get to the park at least 30 minutes prior to park opening. Once the park opens, go directly to the Indiana Jones Adventure Outpost. Since parking and traffic can be unpredictable, I cannot say for certain if it would be better to drive or take the shuttle. We always use Disney transportation and have managed to get to the sign-up location early enough to secure a training time.
On our last visit, we had our choice of training times. It was, therefore, easier for me to schedule training around our Fast Pass+ and Dining Reservations. Be sure to consider purchasing Memory Maker. With it, you would have access to all of your Photopass photos from Jedi Training.
Train well. The future of the galaxy depends on your recruits!
