Hi Andrew!
I am so excited to hear you are thinking about taking a spin in a
motorized watercraft on the Seven Seas Lagoon. This is one of my family's favorite things to do, and I simply can't recommended it enough. There is nothing like jetting around the Seven Seas Lagoon and seeing Magic Kingdom Park from the privacy of your own boat. Be sure as well to take the water bridge connecting Seven Seas Lagoon with Bay Lake as there is even more to explore here, with views of the stunning Disney's Wilderness Lodge and Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort.
Your watercraft options for 2 adults and 1 child include either a Boston Whaler Montauk, which seats up to 6 people, or a a Sun Tracker Pontoon boat, which seats up to 10 people.
Boat Rental Fees are currently the same for each of these watercraft, and are charged by the half-hour, with Annual Passholder and Disney Vacation Club discounts available. (Please note that currently the Boston Whaler is limited to use in the waterway in which the rental Marina was located).
There are two Marinas located on the Seven Seas Lagoon at both Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.
In addition, Marinas at the following Resorts are located on Bay Lake, connected to the Seven Seas Lagoon by a water bridge:
-Disney's Contemporary Resort
-Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort
-Disney's Wilderness Lodge
Wishing you a most magical upcoming vacation, and Happy Boating!
Trish
