Hello, Brian!
Thank you so much for sending such a fun question! It's a pleasure to share our little secrets and favorite hidden gems!
I always like to explore
Disney's Californian Hotel & Spa to stay off the beaten path. So my first tip is to book dinner at
Napa Rose and arrive from
Disney California Adventure Park. You'll get a beautiful view from the park, and I promise you won't regret saving some room for their delicious creations!
While you're at the hotel, you can also take some time to enjoy a massage or treatment at the
Tenaya Stone Spa. It will give you a fantastic break in the middle of a busy theme park day.
You can also consider enjoying a
Winemaker Reception at Carthay Circle or a
Wine, Beer and Mixology Education & Tasting Seminar. These exclusive experiences only happen during the
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival, so they're entirely unique!
If you're a Star Wars fan, you can also create a one-of-a-kind lightsaber at
Savi's Workshop at
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. I joined my husband as he built his lightsaber, and it was very fun.
Finally, I'd like to share my happy hour hidden gem:
GCH Craftsman Bar. I love to book a table there around 6:00 p.m. and enjoy some live music while I have dinner. My husband and I love the
Double-baked Nachos and the pizzas!
I hope my favorites help you discover new experiences on your next trip, Brian! Let us know if you need more tips or advice. We'll be here to share all the hidden gems!
May the magic be with you,
Julie
