Hi Michelle!
I'll let you in on a little secret. The Disney magic is real!
Leave a trail of pixie dust from their beds. I'd use a Mickey head craft punch to make it - a lot of craft stores carry these. I'd use black, red and yellow since those colors are associated with Mickey. The pixie dust would lead them to a red box with black, yellow & red ribbons with Disney T-Shirts inside.
The trail would then lead into the kitchen where the table would be set with Disney plates & napkins & place cards with everyone's name. If you're dining at at any character meals, I'd put those character names on them (i.e, if you're dining at Chef Mickey's, I'd print ones off with your kids' names & one for Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy & Donald). You can download the Walt Disney font for free to use. Sprinkle the table with pixie dust & leave an official Disney World Autograph Book for each of them. You can purchase these & other authentic theme park merchandise online at
www.DisneyStore.com. That will really make it look like Mickey left it.
The pixie dust could lead outside (front porch or garage) where they would see a banner that says "See Ya Real Soon!"
When they open the car door, I'd have another gift waiting for them. Perhaps a stuffed plush of their favorite character & some things to keep them entertained while traveling.
You can continue the surprises by having something delivered to your room when you arrive with a note saying "Hi ya Pal! I'm so glad you're here". To help arrange this, contact the Disney Floral & Gifts Department by visiting them online at
www.disneyflorist.com or calling 407-WDW-GIFT.
