We are looking to go on our first Disney cruise with our 5 year old. My question is how late are the kids clubs open to? We want to be able to go to one of the adult lounges at least one night but dont know how long we would have on our own in the evening

    Hi Amy!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  I am so excited to hEAR you are headed out on an adventure with Captain Mickey!  While a Disney Cruise Line vacation has something for every age, your five-year old will really find it magical.

My boys love the onboard Youth Clubs – and so do I!  I love being able to drop them off and feel confident that they are having a great time and likely not even missing me!  Being able to drop them off in the Oceaneer Club or Lab so that my husband and I can enjoy the adult-exclusive venues onboard is such a treat and really makes it feel like you are on a vacation!  We always plan a date night at Palo or Remy during our voyage and if you haven’t made a reservation to dine there, I highly recommend it!  Dinner is served in the Youth Clubs or you can choose to feed your little one ahead of time (which we always tend to do to ensure they actually do eat instead of play!).  The onboard Youth Clubs’ hours vary by day, but rest assured they are open until at least 10 or 11PM – and sometimes even later – allowing parents to enjoy themselves without having to rush back to get their kiddos.

The Personal Navigator or Navigator app will list the hours of operation for the Youth Clubs once onboard or they are usually posted outside the Youth Clubs as well to reference.  When your Online Check-In opens (75 days prior to sailing for first time Guests) go ahead and register your Mouseketeer for the Youth Clubs so that their Oceaneer Band will be ready and waiting for them when you arrive at the port for embarkation.

Please come back with any other planning questions you may have!

    Happy Sailing!
