I am looking to go to DLR on Feb 16-18. I have recently been looking at online crowd predictor calendars. That week is predicted to be very busy and I'm not sure why. Is there an event happening then?

    Hello Heidi!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I hope you are having a great week!

Funny enough, I was also trying to plan a quick trip to Disneyland Resort with one of my boys that same weekend. The reason the crowds are expected to be higher is because that is the week after President’s Day weekend and many schools are closed.

When I lived in California as a child, we actually would get that whole week off for a mid-winter break. Now that I’m in Colorado, my kids get a nice 4-5 day weekend. Even though the crowds are showing to be high, your best bet is to visit on the Tuesday through Thursday as those mid-week days typically have lower crowds.

I hope this helps and please let me know if you need anything else as you plan your visit!

    See you real soon!
