Hi, I am looking to gift my daughter an Annual pass to Disney land for her birthday this year. Please help?

    Hiya Bhuvana!

Thank you for sending this Disneyland Resort Magic Key annual pass question to us hEAR at planDisney!

First off, I fully support this idea. Gifting the magic and joy of The Happiest Place on Earth truly is the gift that keeps on giving yEAR round. Unfortunately, Magic Key annual passes are not currently on sale at this time. If your daughter is already a Magic Keyholder, you could certainly purchase a Disney Gift Card which she could use for the renewal.

Sadly there isn't any intel (or even a good rumor) as to when Magic Keys might be available again. I, too, missed out on purchasing these new passes and am not-so-patiently waiting for their return. In addition to checking the Magic Key tier level page every now and then, I'm also following the official Instagram accounts for Disneyland Resort, the Disney Parks Blog, and Disneyland Magic Keyholders. Surely one of those accounts will post the news if and when these magical ticket sales resume.

Pro Tip: Be sure to check out the various Key tier levels offered as well as their blockout dates now so you'll be ready to click 'checkout' on your shopping cart as soon as these passes are back.

Other ideas that could substitute for the pass while still planning some Disney days would be a Disneyland Resort Hotel Vacation Package, which combines a play (Theme Park Admission Tickets) and a stay (a room at a Disneyland Resort Hotel). Another idea is a room-only hotel reservation - your daughter could enjoy all of the amenities of her hotel on both the check-in and check-out date and make a whole weekend without stepping into the parks!

I'm so sorry that this wasn't the full answer you were sEARching for, Bhuvana, but I hope that it helped to inspire another Disneyland dream. Be sure to follow the official planDisney Panel Instagram account where we're sharing all kinds of tips and tricks. And if you have any more Disneyland Resort vacation planning questions, We're All Ears!
