Hello and welcome to planDisney, Coral!
My family and I love camping at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. In fact, we stay there every year for Christmas. It is so much fun!
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground at Walt Disney World has a lot of rules when it comes to the golf carts that drive around. At this time, to use at the campground, it must be a true golf card. ATV's, utility and construction style carts are not permitted. If you have a standard golf cart to bring instead, I highly suggest it. Also, keep in mind that golf carts at the campground must have a maximum speed of 20 MPH. Here is a
complete list of the golf cart rules at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground so you can take a look at all of the rules and regulations.
I actually recommend
renting a golf cart directly from Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. This is what I do and it really works out. I know that it is 100% in compliance with the rules, since it's theirs, and if something happens while I am there, they are going to take care of it. You can rent a golf cart ahead of time by calling 407-WDW-PLAY. Currently, golf cart rentals are $61.92 plus tax per day. To rent a golf cart directly from the campground, the renter must be 18 or older and have a valid driver's license.
I hope this helps, Coral. If you have any other questions about your stay at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm here to help!
Have fun and enjoy!
