It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Ruby! I'm so glad that you came here today to ask about one of my favorite attractions at Walt Disney World Resort:
the food! My family and I love using the
Disney Dining Plan when we're on vacation because we love the choice and variety that's available to us and we also find that we save a little bit of money as well. We've used it almost every time we've gone on vacation so I'm happy to walk you through some of the finer points of how it works so you can decide which one is right for your family!
The dining experience that you're asking about,
Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show, is one of the restaurants that participate in the Disney Dining Plan. If you want to enjoy dinner and a show there, each person in your party will need to use two Table-Service credits when you make your reservation. Table-Service credits are included in the
Disney Dining Plan, the
Disney Dining Plan Plus, and the
Disney Deluxe Dining Plan, but they are not a part of the
Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan, which includes two Quick-Service credits and two Snack credits per person, per day.
Here is a list of all of the restaurants where you are able to use a Quick-Service credit and, with the exception of
Be Our Guest Restaurant, you do not need a reservation for any of these dining locations. If you think your family would enjoy
Character Dining or a few meals at places with traditional restaurant service, then you may want to look into the other Dining Plan options to see if they might work better for you!
With more than 100 Quick-Service dining locations to choose from, I can't let you go without letting you know about a few of my favorites. Disney's Animal Kingdom is my number one place to go for a delicious Quick-Service meal and I can't ever decide between
Flame Tree Barbecue and
Satu'li Canteen so I have to go back multiple times on each trip! I also like to save up a few Quick-Service and Snack credits to use at EPCOT because eating my way around World Showcase is a tradition when I'm on vacation. Make sure to stop by
Katsura Grill in the Japan Pavilion and
Tangierine Café in the Morocco Pavilion to get your fill of exotic international flavors.
Have a magical day, Ruby!
