I am looking into getting an annual pass for my upcoming trip in February. We will also be traveling the following February of 2020. I am trying to understand what is meant by the date of capture? Do they mean the date of purchase or the date of activation

Hello Jenna! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

When I became an Annual Passholder for the first time 2 years ago, I was unsure whether I would be able to maximize the value by visiting the Theme Parks or using enough of the benefits and discounts offered to Annual Passholders.

I have never looked back and been a Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholder ever since.

When you initially purchase your Walt Disney World Resort Annual Pass, you are provided a confirmation number that must be presented at a Theme Park or Disney Springs Ticket Window with personal identification for activation upon your first visit. Your 365-day window for your Walt Disney World Resort Annual Pass begins on the date of that activation.

Be sure to look into all of the benefits and discounts offered to Annual Passholders and prepare to take advantage of all of the extra magic afforded to you as a member.

Have a Magical Year of Visit!
