Looking for a fun character breakfast before heading to MK. Looking at Ohana, Chef Mickey's, or 1900 Park Fare. What are the pros and cons of each? Can we take the monorail to MK from each of these locations? What time reservation? Thanks!!

    Hi Kelly!

You have picked three of my favorite character breakfasts! Each offer a fantastic dining experience with different characters.

Best Friends Breakfast featuring Lilo & Stitch at 'Ohana is at the top of my character breakfast list. Not only can Guests visit with my favorite characters, Lilo and Stitch, the food is fantastic. Breakfast is served family style, which means it is brought to your table. You don't have to venture out to serve yourself which can sometimes be inconvenient with young children. 'Ohana offers character waffles with Stitch on them. They also offer my favorite Polynesian juice.

Supercalifragilistic Breakfast at 1900 Park Fare has a fun mix of characters with familiar faces from Winnie the Pooh and Alice in Wonderland. This all-you-care-to-eat buffet has tons of breakfast offerings including custom-made omelets, carving stations as well as the popular Mickey waffles. There is no shortage of choices for breakfast and you'll be sure to leave with full bellies. Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is the definition of elegance, so dining here is a bonus.

Chef Mickey's Fun Time Buffet is the place for meeting the Fab Five characters. The location here is fun with the monorail driving through, which my kids love. The breakfast is delicious and offers the most variety out of the three restaurants. Brunch at Chef Mickey's is my recommendation if you have time for it. Brunch starts at 11:30 and includes breakfast and lunch options. The ribs take up most of my plate.

These restaurants and Magic Kingdom Park are accessible using the Resort Monorail.

    Have a magical day!
