    We were looking at frozen ever after dessert party for September for my 40th birthday. My husband found it said that if would be changing to something else. Will be not be able to book at 180 days now?

    Hi, Kristin! 

    It sounds like you are going to have an amazing birthday celebration this year!  I celebrated my own 40th birthday at Walt Disney World a couple years ago, and it was, by far, my best birthday ever!

    A special event like a dessert party is the perfect way to add a little extra pixie dust to any celebration.  I checked the Walt Disney World website, and currently, dates are listed for the Frozen Ever After Sparkling Dessert Party through the end of May.  I would recommend that you keep checking the website to see if more dates are added.

    I do know that there is a big change to Epcot's nighttime fireworks spectacular coming soon.  This may be what your husband was referring to.  The long-running "IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth" show will be retired at the end of summer 2019, in order to make way for an exciting new nighttime show.  It has not yet been announced how this change will affect events such as the Frozen Ever After Sparkling Dessert Party, but keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for all the latest news.

    In the meantime, I would also suggest that you take a look at the Enchanting Extras Collection.  The Enchanting Extras collection consists of over 100 unique experiences throughout the Walt Disney World Resort, including several different dessert parties.  I am sure you will find something to make your birthday extra magical!
