Hi Tracy,
Welcome to planDisney!
Well, your planning thus far sounds
practically perfect! Did you double-check to try to link his ticket again? If not, I would try that first. In the
My Disney Experience Mobile App, click on My Tickets & Passes, then click on the plus sign in the top right of the screen, and then Link Tickets & Passes. If you have linked the ticket but do not see it, double-check to be sure he does not have two different profiles in My Disney Experience. This has happened to me in the past and I had to reassign the unused ticket and delete the extra profile.
It sounds like you also are already able to manage the plans of the 8-year old. If you still cannot see that ticket linked,
call to speak with a cast member in Website Support. They can actually see the details of your MyDisney account and should be able to help you get that ticket linked and/or make sure you are truly able to manage plans for him.
Looking at your arrival date, you still have time to make some important decisions about dining! My family loves to try at least one new restaurant on each visit and we always go back to old favorites. Consider breakfast at
Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Rivera,
Space 220 Lounge or
Space 220 Restaurant,
Coral Reef Restaurant, and
Chef Mickey's.
Tracy, I trust you will get that ticket linked and be able to make plans! Also remember to check the type of tickets you have to be sure that you do not need to make
theme park reservations. Continue the fabulous planning. In the spirit of Tiana, you are
almost there!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
