Hi there, Terry, and welcome back to planDisney! It's wonderful that you're here with this great question about planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. It sounds like you're ready to get the planning started - how exciting!
Terry, I firmly believe planning a Disney vacation is a big part of the fun! It's so much fun to see that countdown to your arrival in the
My Disney Experience Mobile App! While my planDisney Panelist pals and I are experts at planning Disney vacations, we are not able to directly book travel for Guests. We are here to answer your questions and give advice based on our expertise and experience, and we can guide you in many of the decisions you'll make when planning your vacation. You're welcome to reach out to a helpful Cast Member who can help you get started, or you can enlist the services of your trusted Travel Agent.
When planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation, I start with where to stay. Have you thought about which
Disney Resorts Collection hotel you'd like to call "home" during your visit? Once you decide that, you can consider options like
tickets and
dining plans. As your visit draws near, you'll start to make bookings for
dining,
Enchanting Extras, and
Lightning Lanes. A perfect vacation for me includes staying at a beautiful hotel like Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge or Disney's BoardWalk Inn. I like to spend at least one full day in each of the four theme parks and build in a day or two to enjoy the pool and
Disney Springs.
Terry, as of right now, bookings are available through the remainder of 2025. We are eagerly awaiting availability in 2026! Keep an eye on the Walt Disney World Resort website, official social media accounts, and
Disney Parks Blog for updates. Be sure to check out the
Special Offers page when you're ready to book to see if you're eligible for any savings! Stop by planDisney with any other questions as you continue to plan your visit.
See ya real soon!
