Welcome to planDisney, David! Just a few weeks now and you will be making your way to the
most magical place in Europe! There really is no better way to end a day at the Disney Parks than with a nighttime spectacular. We are now lucky enough to have two to enjoy, Disney Tales of Magic at Disneyland Park and the brand-new Disney Cascade of Lights at Disney Adventure World.
Good news, David, at the time of writing, the shows are not due to close during the dates of your visit and are scheduled to be performed nightly subject to weather conditions. If you booked directly with Disneyland Paris, you may be able to add
reserved viewing for each show to your
Hotel + Ticket Package, at the time of writing, there is still availability for each show each night. I have just got home from my most recent trip to Disneyland Paris and purchased reserved viewing in advance for the first time, and now I will always aim to do this on every trip. We headed to our spot in the reserved area 30 minutes before the show and were very close to the front, with plenty of space around us. It was wonderful!
One thing to be aware of is that Disney Tales of Magic and
Disney Cascade of Lights usually take place at around the same time, so you would need two evenings if you want to see both. On this trip, I got to see Disney Cascade of Lights for the very first time... and wow! It was a perfect Disney nighttime spectacular, with the ability to view it all around Adventure Bay. We got a spot 40 minutes beforehand, just by the toilets at World of Frozen, and had a perfect view of the projections, drones, and pyrotechnics. It was extra special, as it was the first time my eldest son had actually managed to stay awake to watch a nighttime spectacular, and he was in awe!
