We are looking forward to useing our refurbished 22' vintage Airstream at the Tent or Pop-Up Campsite, but need to know what restrictions or requirements prevail.

    Hi William!

You must be over the top excited to have refurbished an Airstream trailer. They are amazing works of art and we love seeing that they are coming back more and more during our travels. We own the newer motor coach but certainly appreciate the work of an Airstream.

The Tent/pop-up sites in Fort Wilderness are strictly for either the tents or the small pop-up or van type campers.  Your 22' trailer would not be allowed on these sites as they are only 25' long to begin with and that does not leave enough room. You are more then welcome to book any other type of camping site at the Fort. They offer Premium sites, Preferred sites, and Full Hook-up sites. The Premium ones will be the longest and largest with many being 60' long. The Preferred sites are those in the loops closest to the marina and Pioneer Hall area. The Full Hook-up sites will be slightly shorter and smaller then Premium and more secluded and away from the heart of the Fort. Pricing is according to your type of site with the Premium being the most expensive per night.

If you have already booked a tent site and you can't find another site available on line then please call the Fort Wilderness desk directly to talk to someone about changing you to a correct site. They can work some magic so you won't lose your reservation. You can reach them at 407-824-2837.

All of the above sites will offer you sewer hookup which is not included at the tent sites. They also have water and electrical hookup and cable. The Fort Wilderness Resort is a great place for a vacation and to enjoy your "new" Airstream!
