Looking forward to a trip to WDW in Febuary-my question is- when using the magical express, do you have to use the magical express tags or can you claim your own bags then catch the magical express bus? Thanks April E

    Hi April,

Unfortunately, you must use your tags for your suitcases.  I tried this once and the response was not very favorable.  Could you imagine what the line ups would look like to get on the Magical Express Buses if everyone had their suitcases in tow?  I was told by a Cast Member for the Magical Express Service that they have this plan in effect for a reason....this being that your suitcases are transported separately to your Walt Disney World Resort and are not on the same bus that you will be traveling on, for the convenience of the guests.   Any suitcase with a tag is actually pulled aside "behind the scenes" at the airport, before they come out on the conveyer belt for the general public.  Then Mickey has his crew personally take your suitcases to your resort room.  Always allow up to 3 hours for your suitcases to arrive in your room!  I hope this answers your question.

    Best Wishes,
