Welcome to planDisney, Rebecca.Since you are already planning your December visit's park days, you fit in here perfectly.
When you arrive at Walt Disney World this December, be prepared to experience the resort's hundreds of vibrant poinsettias, twinkling lights, and stunningly decorated Christmas trees. I love the Mickey wreaths on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom. Check out
Holidays at Walt Disney World to see some of the special offerings available this time of year.
Good news! Starting in October, guests at Disney resorts will be able to hit any park, on any day, 30 minutes early. This means you can plan park visits without having to consider a special early morning hours schedule. As soon as you purchase your tickets, head over to the
Theme Park Reservations to book your park days. Admission can reach capacity during the holidays, so you want to snag your choices early.
Deluxe Resort guests will be able to enjoy evening hours in select parks on specific dates by the time you arrive in December. Since we don't know exactly when this benefit will begin or when a calendar will be released, I wouldn't wait to reserve theme park days since availability might close. A
Park Hopper will allow you admission into a second park each day which will help you avoid having to reserve a park based on extra hours in the evening.
Enjoy your visit to Walt Disney World during this festive season.
