Hi- Looking forward to staying at Beach Club Villa's for our family vacation in October and wondering if my husband will be able to accompany my children on the water slide at Stormalong Bay? Can 2 people go down at the same time? Appreciate your help!

Hi Stacy!  The Beach Club Villas are my family's first choice for every Disney World trip!  You will love the resort and all that it has to offer!

The pirate ship slide at Stormalong Bay is really fun.  However, since it is such a tall slide and enters into some rather deep waters, you must be able to go down the slide by yourself.

On one of our visits, the lifeguard even made my son prove to her that he could swim a few strokes before she let him go down the slide.  Generally, they will let you stand off to the side behind a rope to be there for your child when they come down.

If it doesn't work for you this year, the pool area at the resort is huge and has many other things for your children.  The sand area is my boys favorite place, and mine too!  The sand occupies them for a while, and I get to soak up some sun!

I hope this helps!  Have a great trip!
