Looking forward to our stay at Old Key West in a few weeks! We were wondering what type of charging ports there are in the rooms so we can charge all our phones and other electronics. This way we know what adapters to have. (USB-A or USB-C)

Hi Mark and welcome back to planDisney! I love the relaxing vibe of Disney’s Old Key West Resort. Sometimes it doesn’t even feel like I’m at Walt Disney World when we stay there! Let’s get you plugged in on the latest information so you can be prepared for your upcoming trip.

The villas at Old Key West Resort all come equipped with USB-A and standard electrical outlets. I personally love having USB-A outlets to charge up our MagicBand+ after a long day at the parks! If you need to charge items with a USB-C outlet, be sure to bring some adapters for those.

While you’re there, make sure to check out the International Flower & Garden Festival at EPCOT! I love checking out the topiaries and snacking on the delicious and festive foods the booths have to offer. Be advised that the South Point Pool and surrounding BBQ area and playground will be closed for routine maintenance in late April, so if you haven’t put in a room request yet, I’d ask to be placed in a different area of the resort. I like to stay near the Hospitality House to be near the main pool, Gurgling Suitcase, and the boat launch to Disney Springs!

Mark, I hope this information is helpful for you as you plan your upcoming trip. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me and my fellow panelists here at planDisney!

    Your pal,
