Looking forward to June trip, need clarification on things to help plan. How can we get our boys in Jedi training? How long will it take Magic Exp to get us to our hotel? How soon prior to dining resv should we leave hotel using Disney transportation?

    Hi Mark!

Thanks for your questions, you've come to the right place!

The Jedi Training take place in Hollywood Studios, near the Star Tours attraction. The Times Guide found by the Maps at the entrance will tell you all the times it will take place on the day of your visit. If you are visiting over a Star Wars weekend, there might also be a special event Times Guide available. For your boys to participate, they should line up about 20 minutes prior. There will be a cast member there to ask you questions, such as your children's ages, to make sure the experience is a good fit for them. For my son, I had to wait around for a second Jedi Training since the first one had filled up, but it was worth it. It made my son's trip!

Magical Express takes about 90 minutes. It might take less if your resort happens to be the first on the route.

For the dining reservations, try to be there 10-15 minutes early, and plan for Disney transportation to take an average of 45-60 minutes. This is a conservative figure, and might vary depending on your departing point, destination, and whether you are using bus, monorail, or boat, or even a combination.

Hope this helps, but feel free to come back to the Moms Panel if you have more questions regarding your trip! Have a magical vacation!
