We are looking forward to our January 2014 trip to Disney World staying at Art of Animation! Wondering if the pools are heated? Will it be warm enough to swim outside? Thanks so much for this panel! I'm learning a lot :)

    Hi Christy,

You are going to love staying at the Art of Animation Resort! You'll be happy to hear that the pools are heated year round to 82 degrees. While I can't guarantee what the weather will be like or how warm the air temperature will be, if your children are like mine, I bet they will want to swim. We were just at Disney World earlier this week and my kids spent quite a bit of time in the pool. Meanwhile, I was wearing a sweatshirt in a lounge chair. It can tend to be quite cool in January, but the pool will still be warm.

I hope this helps and that you have a wonderful vacation,
