It looks like you have big plans for your family, Mary! Park hopping is a great way to pack a day with lots of fun! Of course, when you’re traveling between parks, it can take up to 90 minutes to travel from one location to another, wait for transportation, go through security, etc.
I recommend entering
Magic Kingdom by 7pm, where you will already find the main hub starting to crowd with guests eager to see the incredible new show. This means you should leave
Epcot (I would use the
monorail and transfer at the TTC) by 6 in order to clear security and make sure you’re not late! If you are early, I have some great ideas for you! My son and I never fail to grab a bathroom break and then the perfect snack before settling in. The best spot for viewing the fireworks, in my opinion, is on the north part of the hub, closer to the castle. It can get fairly crowded here, so pull to the curb near Tomorrowland and sit down well before the show begins. Now is the time to enjoy that Ice Cream Sundae or the contents of the great collectible popcorn buckets and relax before everyone rises to their feet for the great spectacle.
Stay put for a few minutes after the fireworks, because the projection show called
Once Upon a Time is usually not far behind. Of course, times shift and alter, so check the times guide online before you depart for the day. Make fun use of the extra time you might get in Magic Kingdom by passing through the Emporium. I adore grabbing a postcard and mailing to a far-away family member each visit. I hope you enjoy the show! ~ Lindsey P.
