Looking forward to my first trip as a parent! I've been checking for the Frozen Ever After dessert party daily for 2 months - we are only in Epcot for 1 night - on Valentines Day! Should I let the dream die? Saw the B-way announcements - is this why?

    Hi Melissa!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How exciting that you're bringing your Mouseketeer to meet Mickey and his Pals at the Most Magical Place on Earth! I first brought my son to Walt Disney World Resort when he was 14 months old; you are never going to forget watching the Magic of Disney come to life through the eyes of your child!

I wanted to surprise my own family by adding the Fantasmic! Dessert & VIP Viewing Experience to our Disney vacation this last March, but was unable to book it when our 180 day Advanced Dining Reservation window opened. Like you I was really frustrated! However, from both that experience and my time here on the Disney Parks Moms Panel, I've learned that each Dessert and Dining Event opens its own booking calendar anywhere between 45 and 90 days in advance of the dining date.

I've hEARd that the Frozen Ever After Dessert Party will still be around until Illuminations ends this summer. So while it may not show any openings right now, definitely keep checking back. February's dates should be published in early December, and you should be able to book your desired party date then too. If you're still unable to book this dessert party after mid-December, I'd call the Disney Dining Reservation phone line to see if they can be of better service. Their phone number is (407) 939-1947.

Pro Parenting Tip: Check out the Baby Care Centers in each Disney Theme Park for calmer locations to change a diaper, prepare a baby meal, and even purchase emergency baby supplies.

We'll See You in 2019, Melissa!
