Operational hours for the Simba parking lot track the hours of the
Downtown Disney District. Though exact times may vary, you will likely find that the parking lot will open about 15 minutes prior to the District opening. Recently, hours for Downtown Disney District have been from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Be sure to visit
Disneyland.com/DTD and consult the
Disneyland app for the latest information.
Tony’s Tip: We are currently celebrating the 65th anniversary of the Disneyland Resort. Although there are no commemorative events planned at the Downtown Disney District, the esplanade between Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park remains accessible. To mark the occasion, I recommend taking a special selfie with the iconic
floral Mickey, visible through the gates at the entrance of Disneyland Park.
A visit to the Downtown Disney District is a great way to welcome back the magic of the Disneyland Resort as it begins a safe,
phased reopening. I recently returned from a fantastic
visit to the Downtown Disney District. It was so much fun to be back at The Happiest Place on Earth! I loved the
shopping and
dining experiences. But the thing that made me the happiest was hearing the soundtrack of familiar music playing throughout the District. I can’t wait to return soon.
