Looking forward to a Disney vacation during Star Wars month! It used to be the month of May but it seems to be shifting to June. What are the dates for 2016 so we can start our planning? Are the Star Wars events during the week too or just weekends? Thanks

    Hi Gretel,

Disney's Star Wars Weekends is my son's favorite event to attend!  The galactic atmosphere, out-of-this-world characters, and interstellar fireworks make this event a must-do for all ages Star Wars fans.

The 2016 dates (and specific events) have yet to be announced so I recommend bookmarking the previous linked page and check back for future updates. In the previous years Star Wars Weekends has encompassed Friday, Saturday, and Sundays only. The dates in the past several years have begun about mid-May and run through early June.  However I recommend checking back for the official release of information because just like investing in the stock market, past indicators do not always parlay to future performance.

Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question Gretel. Please come back and visit us again should you need any further help with your vacation planning, we are always happy to help.

May the Force be with you,
