Hi Isayana and
bienvenue to planDisney.
You must be so excited now that your trip to
Disneyland Paris is only a few weeks away. It won't be long before you're walking right down the middle of Main Street U.S.A and taking your first glance at Sleeping Beauty Castle.
I, like you, am currently counting down the days to a November visit. Did you know that
Disney Enchanted Christmas will have begun just a couple of days before you arrive? Believe me when I say that there isn't a more magical time of year to visit. Be sure to catch Mickey's Dazzling Christmas Parade! and "Let's Sing Christmas!" musical show during your stay. You can even meet Santa and Mrs Claus - what better way to get into the Christmas spirit!
Going back to your question, Isayana, you do not need to be staying at a Disney Hotel in order to make a reservation for
My Royal Dream. You can book an appointment time slot up to 1 month in advance (or upon confirmation of your Disney Hotel booking), via the Disneyland Paris website or Disneyland Paris app (subject to availability).
As you are wanting to make a booking for the 11th November, you will need to wait until 11th October, before you are able to search for availability.
Reservations for My Royal Dream are super popular and due to the fact that Guests staying at a Disney Hotel are able to book as soon as they have made a hotel booking and linked this in the Disneyland Paris App, you may find that there isn't much availability left, once you reach 30 days out.
If on 11th October there are no reservations showing as available on the 11th November, this is because the experience is fully booked. However, if this does end up being the case, please don't give up hope!
My best advice would be to keep checking for availability every day from 11th October until your arrival at Disneyland Paris. Cancellations do happen and often at short notice as other guests begin to firm up their plans.
Should you have no luck securing a reservation in advance, head on over to the Royal Collection Boutique in the
Disneyland Hotel once you arrive to enquire if they have any slots available during your visit.
Finally, if all else fails, I have an alternative plan for you! Princess-themed face-painting is available at
Sir Mickey's Boutique in Fantasyland at Disneyland Park. The style is very similar to that offered at My Royal Dream. I would suggest dressing the birthday girl in her favourite princess dress, styling her hair yourself and taking her to have her face painted before visiting the Disneyland Hotel where you will be able to get some lovely photos of her in all her regal beauty.
The Disneyland Hotel lobby, staircases and corridors are all great backdrops. There are even some big throne-like chairs which your daughter could sit on and if you time it right, you might even see a Disney Princess or catch La Troupe Royale show.
I hope that this information has been of use and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you manage to snag a reservation for your daughter to have her very own fairytale transformation, during your visit.
Wishing you a magical holiday filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
Emma
