Hi Karen!
We are so happy that you MIXED up a great question for us here at planDisney. It’s exciting to hear you are considering one of the Disney Magic at Sea itineraries. Captain Mickey is sure to UNCORK lots of fun during those special sailings on the
Disney Magic.
I can SEA why you are looking forward to the
Disney Magic at Sea itineraries. These amazing staycation cruises this summer are exclusively for residents of the United Kingdom, and Guests will be staying onboard during the entire cruise. As a result, I’ll bet you can expect many surprises and lots of MAGIC onboard.
We are awaiting a lot of news concerning Disney Magic at Sea voyages, down to the very itineraries themselves. But I do know this about Captain Mickey’s cruise rules: Disney Cruise Line follows an
alcohol policy and will only serve those 21 and older with proper ID. However, during roundtrip cruises leaving from European countries that have a lower drinking age, parents/guardians can sign a Beverage Consent Form that allows their kids ages 18 to 20 to have alcoholic beverages while in their presence.
As the mom of a 19-year-old, I am keenly aware of these age requirements for alcohol consumption. While I am not sure whether the Disney Magic at Sea cruises will actually be offering this Beverage Consent opportunity or not, I would definitely ask a
Disney Cruise Line Vacation Planning Specialist when you do call to make the reservation. The most recent update on Disney Magic at Sea is that itineraries will be available beginning on April 19th.
We hope that you will consider POPPING back by planDisney if you have more questions before you set sail because we are always BUBBLY to answer them.
Bon Voyage!
Sherry
