    Hello! Looking forward to boarding Disney Dream in a few weeks for our second time. Can you tell us approximately how deep the water is around Pelican Plunge.

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so excited for your upcoming cruise aboard the Disney Dream! Have you started bringing out your suitcases? The Packing List for Disney Cruises is a helpful guide of what items to bring on your unforgettable voyage with Captain Mickey. Even if you forget something, there are shops onboard that will carry all the "whosits and whatsits" any mermaid could possibly be looking for!

    I reached out to my friends at Disney Cruise Line to try and get the specific depth of the water around Pelican Plunge. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find out what the exact depth is. What I can share is that Guests must be at least 38" tall to enjoy Pelican Plunge. Also, Guests between 38" - 48" must wear a life vest. Life vests will be located right at the Pelican Plunge water play area on Castaway Cay, so your little swimmer will be all set and ready for a splashtacular time!

    Caroline, you're going to have such a wonderful time while visiting Castaway Cay. When we visit the island, I love beginning the day participating in the Castaway Cay 5K! All levels are welcome to this beautiful run/walk around the island.
