Looking to fly from MN to FL 3/27/24 through 4/2/24 and spend a few days at Walt Disney World. What airport should I arrive at and is there a Disney bus shuttle offered? Times?

    Hiya Yolanda!

    Welcome to planDisney!

Congrats on taking the first steps in planning your trip to Walt Disney World Resort! You picked your dates! Now, to help you select your flights try to book them to arrive at Orlando International Airport which has the airport code of MCO. This is the closest airport to Walt Disney World Resort and tends to have the most options regarding flight options.

Walt Disney World Resort has no "official" shuttle to the Disney Resort Hotels. Still, there are many private transfer companies such as Mears Connect which have a variety of travel options at reasonable prices. If you have small kids that usually need a car seat this company has vehicles with kid-friendly options. Times are dependent on the company and the date. You should reach out to them directly but they have some options at all hours of the day. My family likes to just request an Uber or Lyft when we travel as it lets us be flexible. The drive from MCO to Walt Disney World Resort is about 20 to 35 minutes depending on traffic. More time could be added on if the transfer you choose has multiple stops if shared between other guests.

I don't know if you have already done so but you can begin checking into your Walt Disney World Resort room now! Online Check-in provides something called Direct-to-Room Service where once your room is ready you will get a text and notification on the My Disney Experience Mobile App where it is. You can even use the app to open your Resort room door! You do not have to go to the Front Desk but head directly to your room once it's ready. It's so convenient as many times Cast Members take into consideration your arrival time and help to make sure as best as they can the room is ready for you. Many times, I get the text when I'm picking up my luggage from the baggage carousel!

I hope this helps and if you have any more questions please feel free to let me know!

    Happy Planning!

My husband and I work very hard to journey to our favorite place on Earth, Walt Disney World Resort, as much as we can. We have traveled as just adults, with babies, kids, teenagers, and senior citizens. We have seen so many characters, eaten at amazing places, and consumed a ton of Dole Whips. So "give a little whistle" and let me be your guide! Learn More About Nimmy
