We are looking to get a Florida Resident Seasonal Pass for the family.  Are the "tickets" now the Magic Bands? Does the Florida Resident Seasonal Pass include Fast Pass?

    Hi Jacqueline,

I'm happy to help with your questions about the Florida Resident Seasonal Pass. We've been seasonal passholders since the mid-1990s and find it is the perfect choice for our family. When you purchase a seasonal pass, you will receive a plastic ticket card, just as in the past, as well as a card to show you are entitled to a passholder discount. You also will receive a passholder MagicBand.

You will link your passes to your My Disney Experience account. If you book a stay at a Walt Disney World resort, you will automatically get additional MagicBands with each stay. You can use those interchangeably with your passholder MagicBands, as long as they are all active in your My Disney Experience account.

If you have a resort reservation, you can book your FastPass+ selections 60 days in advance. Without a reservation, you can make FastPass+ options 30 days in advance.

I love the convenience of being a passholder. I'm not sure how close you are, but we're only about 90 minutes away from Walt Disney World, so we can make impromptu day trips. Just last night, we decided we "need" to check out the first day of the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival this weekend, so I made FastPass+ selections for Saturday afternoon. We will grab our MagicBands and hit the road Saturday morning for a food-filled day.

I hope you love your passes as much as we do. Please let me know if I can answer any other questions for you.  Enjoy!
