Hi, Sharlet! Yay! I am so incredibly excited that you and your family are planning your first vacation to the Happiest Place on Earth!
I was lucky enough to visit the Disneyland Resort this past
February and I would love to relive some of those memories with you. The first thing that I remember was being cold! You might laugh at that as I'm from Colorado and should be used to chilly temperatures, but after so many trips when the weather was blazing hot, I wasn't quite prepared for cooler weather. Of course, with pants and a jacket or sweatshirt in the mornings and evenings, you will be completely comfortable. During the daytime when the sun is shining, you could even try shorts, although I preferred to tour the parks in jeans. The other thing to prepare for is the possibility of rain. When we were at the parks there was a constant drizzle, so pack an umbrella just in case.
There are always new and exciting things coming to the parks, but so far, there hasn't been anything specific announced for February 2018. You might notice an increase in sweet treats and heart-shaped delicacies as Valentine's Day approaches and in past years, the Celebrate Gospel event has happened mid-month. Definitely keep your eye on the
Disney Parks Blog as your travel dates approach. They will be the first to release new happenings at the parks.
I'd love to help you continue to plan your trip, so please visit us again with any other questions you may have!
