I am looking to find out what the easiest way to get from Saratoga springs (where my family is staying) to the contemporary (where my parents will be staying).

    Hi Leslie!

How lucky you are to be sharing a multi-generational trip to the Walt Disney World Resort with your own family and your parents. I am sure you are bound to make plenty of memories at the place where the Magic is Endless!

Even though you will be staying at two different Disney Resort hotels, Disney's Complimentary Resort Transportation makes it possible to journey across the Walt Disney World Resort with ease. The easiest way to get from Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, where you will be staying, to Disney's Contemporary Resort, where your parents will be staying, will be to take a fully air-conditioned Disney bus from your Resort to Magic Kingdom Park. After you depart the bus at Magic Kingdom Park, simply proceed to the marked walkway on the right-hand side as your bus enters the Magic Kingdom depot, proceeding in the opposite direction from how your bus pulled into the station. If you keep your eyes on the right-hand side just before arriving at Magic Kingdom Park you will likely see Disney's Contemporary Resort tower to give you an idea of the direction in which you should be headed. Generally, you should find that the walk takes about 8-10 minutes before you will be entering into the Contemporary Lobby.

Alternatively, your other option would be to head to the Resort Monorail Station after arriving at Magic Kingdom Park. The Contemporary Resort will be the first stop after the monorail leaves the Magic Kingdom station. However, in most cases, proceeding by foot should be marginally faster.

    Happy Travels,
