Hey there, hi there, ho there, Debbie, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! What an exciting time in your life, to be planning your 50th birthday celebration! I can’t think of a better place to celebrate than at the Happiest Place on Earth! Now, let’s get planning!
I checked the Disneyland Resort’s helpful
When to Visit guide, and discovered that there are several times throughout the year when you can enjoy traditionally lower attendance, including mid-January through mid-March (except for President’s Day weekend), mid-April through mid-May (except for Spring Break), and mid-September through mid-November (except during Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort). So, while February and mid-March both typically experience smaller crowds, President’s Day weekend is still considered a busier time to visit the Resort. So, if you’re able to schedule your visit for the first week of March, you may find smaller crowds, which means less time waiting in line, and more time making magical memories!
Here’s some more helpful information about visiting the Disneyland Resort in March. For starters, March brings Daylight Savings Time, which means longer days and more sunshine! The average temperature range is from about 48 to 73 degrees. This month also brings Spring Break crowds toward the later half of the month.
Now, let's talk birthday magic! There’s plenty of
birthday fun to be had at the Disneyland Resort! From celebration cakes to Signature Dining experiences to in-room celebrations, there’s a little something for everyone. Plus, don’t forget to ask for a complimentary birthday button at City Hall in
Disneyland Park, or Chamber of Commerce in
Disney California Adventure Park. Cast Members and Characters will love showering you with well wishes!
I hope this helps you plan your dream Disney getaway and birthday celebration!
Wishing you magic!
