Looking to take my family to WDW in February 2014, are we better trying to go the 1st week or the last week of the month? The first week I am concerned about ride closures as I have two preschool aged children. Thanks

Hello Ashley!  February can be one of the best times to visit Walt Disney World, as the crowds are usually more manageable and the weather is quite lovely.   As far as which week would be better, I'm not quite understanding what you are referring to when you talk about ride closures.  As of today, there are no rides that are scheduled to be closed for rehab, but of course that could change at any time.  I find checking a site like AllEars.net is helpful, as they keep a pretty good schedule of upcoming closures and rehabs.  Keep in mind that the ongoing expansion of New Fantasyland continues into early 2014, so you may find the crowds higher than normal if a new ride or attraction debuts.   Personally, I would lean towards the end of the month, just because your chances of having cold temperatures are greater at the beginning of the month - keep in mind though, that weather is one of those variables that you just can't be sure of.

I'm sorry I can't give you a more definitive answer, but it's really too early at this point to know which, if any, rides or attractions may be closed during your visit.  Rest assured though, that there will still be plenty to keep all of your family happy and occupied throughout your trip to Walt Disney World!

    Have a magical day!
