Hello : ) We were looking for a family friendly restaurant with a fireworks view on 31st October. To celebrate our 10 year anniversary. Could you recommend somewhere please? Thanks very much.

    Hi Holly! Welcome to planDisney!

First, congratulations on your 10-year anniversary! Celebrating such a special occasion at Walt Disney World is going to be magical, and I’m thrilled to help you plan an unforgettable evening for your family.

When it comes to family-friendly dining with a view of the fireworks, you’re in luck, every restaurant at Disney is welcoming to families, so you won’t have to worry about finding a great spot for everyone to enjoy. In my opinion, the best places to combine a delicious meal with a spectacular fireworks view are just outside of Magic Kingdom at the Monorail Resorts. California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort is one of the top spots, offering stunning views of the fireworks from the restaurant. If a reservation around the fireworks show isn’t available, no worries! You can enjoy a meal at Steakhouse 71 (also at the Contemporary) and then head to the 4th-floor balcony to watch the show from there. The view is amazing, and they even pipe in the music for a full experience.

Over at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Narcoossee’s is another fantastic option for fireworks viewing. You’ll have beautiful glass windows overlooking the water, and the music for the show is piped in right to your table. If your table doesn’t offer the perfect view, just let your server know you’d like to step outside to enjoy the fireworks from the dock, an absolutely breathtaking spot. And if you’re looking for a great fireworks view that doesn’t require a reservation, the patio outside Gasparilla Island Grill at the Grand Floridian offers a fantastic view with music as well.

Lastly, for a true family celebration, you can’t go wrong with 'Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. What better way to toast your 10-year anniversary than with your ‘ohana (family)? While the restaurant offers some views of the fireworks, my personal preference is to head down to the beach at the Polynesian after dinner. Surrounded by tiki torches, toes in the sand, and the fireworks lighting up the sky over Seven Seas Lagoon, it’s the perfect way to end a special night.

If you need help with any other planning tips to make your anniversary trip as memorable as your wedding day, I’d love to help!

Cheers to many more happy years!
