I am looking at going with my family to DisneyWorld the first week in May of 2016. How far out in advance do we need to book a reservation if needed at T-Rex. Like to keep things flexible while we are their and not book too many things ahead if possible.

    Hey Kacie-

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Crash! Boom! Crack! Is the world coming to an end? Nope. Those are the sounds of a meteor shower happening at T-REX restaurant at Disney Springs. You will love fun dino-tastic dining.

The first week in May is a fantastic time to visit Walt Disney World Resort. With beautiful weather, low crowds and the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival in full bloom you are wise to keep your options open. T-REX reservations maybe made up to 180 in advance either through the Walt Disney World Resort website or by calling 407-WDW-DINE (407-939-3463). We have made same day reservations in the past without an issue. However, it does get a bit chaotic around dinner time so if you are looking to satisfy your prehistoric appetite you may consider a very early dinner and then explore the Disney Springs area.

Personally, I would not delay making reservations at restaurants you really want to experience and then cancel if you change your mind. For T-REX you may cancel 24 hours before your reservation without penalty.

Disney Dad Tip: If you love chocolate, fudge, caramel and Butterfinger® crumbles then do not pass on the Chocolate Extinction dessert. Dinolicious!

Kacie, enjoy making many Magical and Delicious Memories!
