We are looking to take our family of 4 to Alauni to celebrate our 20 year wedding anniversary. Would we need to make dining reservations ahead of time and are excursions for on site only or off site as well? Any information you can provide would be helpful

    Aloha, Kerri and Happy Anniversary!

I can't think of a better way to celebrate 20 years than a family trip to Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa! On the resort property you will find a variety of dining options and many do not require reservations. However, I would recommend making reservations if you want to enjoy the Disney Character Breakfast at Makahiki- The Bounty of the Islands or the popular, 'Ama 'Ama- Contemporary Island Cooking, which is only steps from the beach. Also, if you are staying in a Deluxe Studio or 1-Bedroom Villa with a full kitchen, and you'd like to keep some groceries on hand, there are local grocery stores, just a few minutes drive. These are easily accessible with a ride-share service like Lyft.

Kerri, you'll also be happy to know that there are lots of choices for off-site excursions, bookable online. For example, if anyone in your family is a history buff, check out Beyond The Call To Duty. This full-day Pearl Harbor Memorial tour takes you through the USS Arizona Memorial and many other historic sites.

I hope that as you are planning your anniversary trip, you find lots of options to fit your family's interests! And... don't forget to schedule in some time for rest and relaxation on that picturesque Hawaiian beach.

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question,
