We are looking at excursions for our upcoming cruise. If the excursions says 4 hour private vehicle tour and the cost is $629, is it $629 per person or $629 divided by the number of people in the vehicle?

    Hi there Amy!

So thrilled you are planning a Disney Cruise Line adventure! While you didn’t say which cruise ship you are sailing, I think you are planning the Western Europe itinerary on the Disney Magic...how fabulous! A private vehicle tour will be a MAGICal way to see and explore a port destination. Even better if you are planning to divide the costs between friends or family.

You are correct that the total cost is $ 629 for the vehicle, not per person. Here’s how it works. Disney Cruise Line charges one person's stateroom for the Port Adventure, so you will have to work out among the other members of your party if you want to split the costs among yourselves. Keep in mind that this private tour does not include entrance fees, meals, refreshments, or gratuities. Make sure this is the tour you want because all private vehicle bookings are nonrefundable.

One thing I really like about a private vehicle is that you are in charge of the itinerary! Reminds me of those books I used to read as a kid called Choose Your Own Adventure because that's exactly what you will be doing! The date of your sailing and the price of the private vehicle lead me to believe you are looking at the Portland by Private Vehicle tour. What makes me most excited to hEAR this is that you will probably be touring Stonehenge! That is definitely on my bucket list.

Once onboard, you will find information in your stateroom to finalize your Port Adventure plans. You must return this form back to the Port Adventures desk (Deck 3, Midship) as soon as possible so they can work with the guide to lock in your adventure. I’d suggest contacting Disney Cruise Line with questions regarding if any of the sites will not be available during your tour.

Cruise back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel for additional questions or if I was way off the mark on your itinerary and excursion and you'd like more pointers specific to your sailing.

    Bon Voyage!
