Hi Susan!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so glad you sailed by with your question about your upcoming Caribbean adventure with Captain Mickey! Once your Online Check-In and booking window open, the time really flies and then before you know it, you’ll be
celebrating as you set sail for an unforgettable voyage!
I have two boys around the ages of your Mouseketeers so I understand that it can be somewhat tricky to find Port Adventures that include the littlest cruisers! That being said, when we visited Antigua last year, we opted to do the
Castaways Beach Escape (A22) and spent a relaxing day on the beach! We seriously considered the Catamaran day trip and while I am sure it would have been perfectly fine, I was a little hesitant to take my two somewhat-crazy boys on a Catamaran in fear of them going “exploring”! The thought of keeping them where they should be didn’t sound relaxing to me, so we opted for something where we knew they could roam and play in the water all day! I really don't think you can go wrong with any excursion you choose because you're on vacation after all and that beats anything else!
Another option that you may want to consider, is a kid-free day! We have left our boys on the ship in the Oceaneer Club and Lab for the day while my husband and I went on an excursion! We knew our boys were in perfect hands onboard and were having just as much fun as they likely would have with us, so it worked out perfectly!
Wishing you a magical adventure at sea with many memories made!
Happy Sailing!
