We are looking at going to Epcot on January 3rd, 2025. Will the Christmas decor still be up? My daughter loves the Land and we want to see it decorated for Christmas.

    Hi there, Claire!

Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by to talk about your upcoming jolly holiday. Visiting EPCOT on one of the first days of 2025 sounds like a fantastic way to kick off the new year. Let's discuss when Walt Disney World will celebrate the holidays this season.

EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays runs from November 23 until December 30, 2024, when you'll likely encounter decorations and special entertainment in this theme park. Last year, Living with the Land - Glimmering Greenhouses (the official name of the attraction's holiday overlay) ended on December 30, coinciding with the festival's conclusion that same day. Some theme park decorations are still on display through Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend; however, I would not expect Living with the Land to remain in its Christmas attire come January. I'm sorry! Stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog and this page for updates on this year's holiday happenings, in case there's a change.

I know this isn't the news you hoped to hear, but if your daughter loves Living with the Land (my whole family does, too!), have you considered taking the Behind the Seeds Tour? It's a reasonably priced, very cool experience, and I suggest it to everyone. Reservations are highly recommended and are often available a day or two in advance so you can decide closer to your visit.

I hope this has been helpful and you have a fantastic time at EPCOT with your daughter. If there is anything else planDisney can do to make your adventure even more magical, don't hesitate to write back. You've got a friend in us! Thanks again for stopping by, and we look forward to welcoming you "home" in 2025!

    Cheers,
    Betsy
