Hi, Looking to eat at the quick serve in the Riviera, Primo Piatto. We are not Disney Resort guest but would love to try the breakfast. Do I have to order in advance and then drive through security. Thank you Lucy

    Hey There, Lucia!

I'm so glad you've found your way to planDisney. Thanks so much for dropping by with a question about your upcoming visit.  Can you believe you'll arrive at Walt Disney World Resort in just over a month?  After all that dreaming (and planning) the wait is almost over!

I'm excited to hear that you're planning to visit Disney's Riviera Resort during your stay.  In fact, my family and I are also headed to The Most Magical Place on Earth in a few weeks and we'll be staying at this incredible Resort for the first time ever –– I can't wait!  Like you, I've heard great things about Primo Piatto (especially the Blueberry-Lemon Pancakes on the breakfast menu!) and I'm really excited to give them a try. However, while you're more than welcome to visit the Resort during your stay, you won't be able to drive your own vehicle and park at the Resort unless you're a registered Resort Guest or you have a confirmed dining reservation at the Resort.  Unfortunately, quick service locations like Primo Piatto don't take dining reservations, so planning to enjoy a meal at this restaurant won't allow you to park at the Resort.

In order to reach Disney's Riviera Resort during your visit, you have a few options.  First, you could park at Disney Springs and use Walt Disney World's Complimentary Resort Transportation to take a bus to Rivera.  Alternatively, could also park at Disney's Hollywood Studios and hop on Disney Skyliner for a quick ride over to Riviera.  While this is likely to be the fastest transportation option, just keep in mind that unless you're a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder with a pass that includes complimentary parking, you'll need to pay for parking at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

I hope this helped to answer your question, Lucia, and I really appreciate you visiting planDisney.  I'm wishing you lots of pixie dust during your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort visit!
