Hiya, Natalie!
Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for sending this
Disneyland Resort planning question to us hEAR!
Oh boy! I love this question because it means that you're visiting The Happiest Place on Earth with your Mouseketeers in tow! Be sure to visit the
Baby Care Center in each theme park. While the name implies that it's only for the teeny-tiny ones, I'm very happy to share that these calming zones are perfect for changing an outfit after an uh-oh or picking up a kiddie-approved item that you might have forgotten to bring from home, like medicine or baby food. But my favorite reason to visit is for a potty pit-stop; each location has a tiny toilet for the littles who are learning to become big kids!
Disneyland Resort allows personal strollers, as long as they are under 31" x 52". Sadly there isn't one big list of approved strollers because just like cars, stroller models are always changing. I've personally brought my UppaBaby Vista with the second 'rumble seat' added to the front; this is a very popular model and you'll see it being used inside
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park in all of its configurations with no problems. However, I prefer it with the piggyback board for the older child to stand on; it feels very heavy when used in-line, and that much weight right at the front sometimes makes it hard to stEAR, which is what you do
not want on a busy Disney day, especially after dark when it's harder for other Guests to see you coming. I've also rented a Bob Revolution Flex Duellie before and I cannot get over how much I love it for park days. Not only does this one push like a dream, have a very large under basket, and a generous weight limit, the sunshades are very large (perfect for naptime!) and there are two cupholders per seat. This would be my pick hands down, but I also think that you'd do well with any side-by-side double stroller over an in-line.
Before I made my rental decision, I scoped out the different park-approved models available from the various Anaheim-area stroller rental companies; then, I took my son to a baby store that specialized in gEAR and had him test out a few of the models I was considering. If you don't have time for all of that, don't forget that
Disneyland Resort also has double strollers available to rent! This facility is located directly
to the right of the Disneyland Park entrance turnstiles. These also push and maneuver well, as well as hold a lot of weight, and very tall kids. (I've seen teenagers park themselves in these push buggies.) However, know that they don't recline and are
not approved for children who cannot sit up by themselves.
I hope that this helped to clEAR up your question, Natalie, as well as better plan for your upcoming Disney day! Be sure to follow the
