Hi there, Clare!
Welcome back to planDisney. It sounds like you are planning many fun activities during your upcoming
Walt Disney World Resort trip.
Wild Africa Trek is probably my favorite experience at Walt Disney World! I love getting a close-up look at the incredible animals. Crossing the rope bridge adds just a touch of thrill, and the food is tasty. It is simply remarkable!
Speaking of food, Guests receive similar snacks regardless of the time of their tour in my experience. If you want to enjoy your snacks around lunchtime, I recommend booking the 10:15 AM tour if that one is available. The food is usually provided towards the end of the experience. The tour lasts around 3 hours and a mid-morning start time will most likely have you eating around lunchtime. Keep in mind that the food is comparable to heavy appetizers instead of a full meal. It is the perfect amount for me, but Guests looking for a hearty meal may want to have a snack beforehand. I hope they serve the chicken wrap during your tour. It was delicious!
Reservations for Wild Africa Trek can usually be made up to
60 days in advance. It is very popular, and I recommend reserving your tour as soon as it is available. If you are staying at a Disney Collections Resort Hotel, you can make reservations for the entire length of your stay (10 nights or less), up to 60 days from your arrival day. It is a great way to snag hard-to-get reservations!
Clare, I hope you have a
purr-fect Wild Africa Trek experience! If you have other questions about this tour,
I am happy to help!
Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!
Jen
