Thank you so much for stopping by with your question on Disney merchandise. I will try to do my best to give you a few places to look as I too was on the recent hunt for a license plate holder frame!
The issue when it comes to merchandise that is very specific is the turnover of things such as this that are available through Disney. Merchandise changes and updates fairly regularly and the best place off-property to get official Disney merchandise would be on
ShopDisney.
If you do plan to visit the parks soon, knowing where to look is the bigger thing. There is so much merchandise available in the parks and resorts that you would not be able to find online. Several of the bigger places to look for specific merchandise would be at the
Emporium in Magic Kingdom, the
Creations Shop in EPCOT and
World of Disney in Disney Springs. These are the bigger locations that carry so many things you did not even know you needed!
Looking around at other smaller locations may also be as fruitful. Gift shops around the resorts have so many unique items that are unique to the resorts as well as unique to Disney that you may not find anywhere else. I was able to find my license plate holder at the gift shop in
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa this past fall. As you know, these items are hard to find and looking at many locations during our trip, this was the only place I was able to find them.
Merchandise does turn over quite regularly, so make sure to keep your eye out online as well as once on-site in the parks, resorts and Disney Springs. You never know what you will find and where!
