Greetings, Jen!
I’m so excited to
hEAR that you’re considering the Disneyland Hotel for your family of five! Of the three Disneyland Resort Hotels, the
Disneyland Hotel is my favorite, thanks to the classic Disney nostalgia, spacious rooms, and delicious dining options. I recently stayed in a Standard View room at the Disneyland Hotel with my family of five (children are ages 2, 5, and 7), and it was just the right size! You’ll be happy to know that the toilet is separate from the sink and mirror of the bathroom, so multiple family members can utilize the bathroom at the same time. The bathtub/shower was in the same room as the sink and mirror, but we didn’t have any issues sharing this roomy space. As for sleeping arrangements, we opted for the two Queen beds and one Day Bed.
The Disneyland Hotel is made up of the Adventure Tower (where we stayed), the Fantasy Tower, and the Frontier Tower – each pays homage to the park’s original lands. You won’t want to miss the
two retro-themed pools and thrilling monorail waterslides! As for dining,
Goofy’s Kitchen is a great spot for a delicious Character Dining experience for the whole family. Tangaroa Terrace Tropical Bar & Grill recently re-opened for a casual-dining option, which even includes the infamous DOLE WHIP! If you’re in the mood for a refreshing island-themed cocktail, be sure to check out Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar – the whole family is welcome until 8:00 PM.
See ya’ real soon!
