Hi Melissa,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question! Your vacation is quickly approaching, can you feel the magic?
At this time, there unfortunately aren’t any physical mail options to helps guests plan their vacation, but you can do everything fully online!
First, let’s talk about planDisney resources, you can check out the
video library which has videos about key components of planning a Walt Disney World vacation. You’ll also see videos from the
planDisney Podcast where we panelists are giving our tips and advice around certain topics; I think these will be super helpful for you.
Next, you’ll want to think about your ticket and hotel options. For
tickets, there are different types like one Park per day or
Park Hoppers. Each ticket type allows you to select a certain number of days for your vacation as well. After thinking about the number of days at the Resort, you’ll want to decide the best ticket option for you and your party. When it comes to hotels, the Disney Resorts Collection is a great place to start! There are
Value,
Moderate,
Deluxe, and
Deluxe Villa properties to explore. The cool thing about each of these hotels is that each have its own specific theme,
check them out and explore which you’d like to stay in! If you’d like to have a package (hotel + ticket), just
“Build Your Vacation” on the homepage.
Once your tickets and hotel are confirmed, you’ll also want to book your
Disney Park Pass reservations. At this time, you need both a ticket and Disney Park Pass for entry into the Theme Parks for each person in your party, for every day of the trip. In my experience, it’s best to book Disney Park Passes as soon as the Park tickets are linked. This way (hopefully) you’ll have a great selection of days to choose from.
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” helps you in the beginning stages of the planning process; your vacation will be here before you know it. If you have any other vacation questions,
please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
Bryanna
