We are looking at going to Disney for 2 week next year. I was wondering, can you buy park hopper tickets for more than 10 days? We are looking at 14 days worth of park hoppers (need 3 adult, 2 children). Just wondering what the best option is and cost!

    Hi, Becky!

Now hear me out before you say NO to my suggestion...I think you should look into buying Annual Passes for your family. With the amount of days you will need, the Annual Pass just makes sense. Add on to the park admission the benefits of shopping discounts, dining discounts at select locations, discounts on bike and boat rentals, and even "room only" discounts are often available.

OK, now to even get a bit more complicated, your Annual Passes would be good for one year after their first use. So, if you plan a return trip within that year, your park admission would be covered! I know for my family, we ended up heading to Disney for spring break this year because of our Annual Passes. We got a super resort rate with our Annual Pass discount, the passes were already paid for, and we used Magical Express transportation. We really could not find a cheaper spring break trip to take!

The price to get 14 days of park hopper tickets is almost the same as buying Annual Passes, so it really makes financial sense. Plus, with the Annual Pass, you also get Disney PhotoPass downloads so you can even capture your vacation with amazing photos. Even if you do not return for a second trip within the year, I think the Annual Pass is the way to go.

I hope you join me in the "365 days of Magic" club (ok, I made up that club, but the benefits are really there with being an Annual Pass holder!) Good luck with your decision!
